So what have I been up to? Well I have had more medical procedures. I had one a couple of months ago under general anaesthetic but it didn't work :(

I've been working on my writing and rehab a lot. Might be having surgery... AGAIN. So fun fun fun but been very very busy :) Looking forward to getting this site back up and running :)

Xmas Commissions

Bonjour!

Going to be editing to create a new banner soon. At least that's my intention. Things have been busy what with new medical tests and uni work. Running tests to check my liver as they think it may be malfunctioning. :( That'll be due to all the tablets then, silly Drs.

Soooo...

How much of a failure am I? Like seriously! One of my friends is not talking to me at ALL coz I'm spending my time with other friends but when I try to spend time with her she doesn't wana do anything, or talk or ANYTHING! Seriously what am I to do?! And I'm meant to be going home today but there's been a major cock up with the post office so I now have to pick something up from there before I go. I've been throwing up ALL night and now never wana eat again and I don't seem to be able to put weight on and keep it there. :( Not having a terrific time right now. The only thing keeping me goin atm is the AMAZING ppl in flat 8B. Worried about mum, so don't want there to be anything wrong with her. And how looong does it take to get biopsy results? Like forever! That's how long! Well anyways I have ben ill tonight in front of Sam and Ben and I now wana curl up into a ball and for the world to open up and swallow me. :( FAIL!

This is a photo of the drawing I STILL have not finished. But this is it so far. Am going to do a painting a lil more epic than this I hope.



V has now gone to rehab and I know what a shitty touch time she's gonna have. I feel terrible too coz before she left A and I had a row and A made out that I thought V was an attention seeker which I do not think at ALL!!!! I love her to pieces and I honestly think she is one of the bravest, strongest people I know. I really really hope that V didn't go away thinking that I think that about her. Will write a letter to her asap. Although I am not Christian her rehab is a christian one. Am gonna scan through the big B book and see what quotes I can find to send her.


This photo is yes, me as a cat. The night out we had for V was wkd. I danced like a complete loon and didn't feel self-conscious once which is very very good considering how much of a recluse I was a few months ago.

And alas. This is my art work for creative studies. I'm not sure if its right though, so epic fail on my part there. :( Not having a happy night tonight. Well, now its 7.38 am. FAIL!!!

Yo all!

So I'm at uni and having a great time though have a lot of work going on. Just wanted to upload some of the things I've been working on.

This is a piece I did for a uni project to do with making/designing a container to hold something precious to you. To me there was a lot of things that were precious to me that had to do with a certain relationship I had.

We were told to think about special things like quotes and poems or letters. In this box I printed the lyrics of a song me and my ex loved and listened to during our relationship, onto tracing paper and stuck them to the back on the mirror. I then hung my locket with photos of the two of us in it in front of that. I sprinkled white glitter into that side of the box so that it looked like a sparkly, light, new relationship. The on the other side i smashed the mirror, stuck a wilted rose (he brought me roses one year for my birthday,) with droplets on top of the smashed mirror pieces.

On each side of the drawers I painted a woman's face. One with a rose tattoo who is smiling. The other is crying so it almost looks like one person, with the both sides of her. I also put my favourite page from one of my fave love stories into the middle drawer. It is the page from Jane Eyre where she declares that just because she is small and plain and obselete, she still has as much heart as anyone else. In the next drawer down I wrote in cursive and decorated one of my fave quotes:

The opposite of love isn't hate; it's indifference. Even if you hate me, you still care.

The top drawer was fake so i used printed card making font to spell out the word love and clued that to it. I then did a small card holding two 'wedding bands' to put on top of a small amount of cream lace. I also wrote I love you in lipstick (Acrylic paint,) on the mirror and glued gold beads around it.

All in all it has all had major differences to it from how it was originally. It really is suppossed to portray the relationship, to contain it in a box. The music the box plays is beautiful but bittersweet and that too goes well with the container.

Another piece I did was for an absolutely awesome flat full of the most wickedest peoples! Or cats I should say.

OK, off to bed. Lecture early in the morning **sigh.**

Hellooo PJ wearers!

Finished! La la la! One of Daniel's commissions is now complete. Thought I'd up and post.

But apparently I can't get the site to post it the right way around.
I've been in Spain for about a fortnite. It was AMAZING! But I am very behind in posting. This is me and myy dad when we were all out at a very expensive and suarve resturant. We went twice and the first time I had Seafood Paella.
Here's us all chilling by the pool. James took the photo and he spent the holiday swimming like a water baby. We all read tonnes by the pool. We don't normally but I think between us we read like 10 books.

The holiday really was AMAZING! I read this book: The Shakespeare Secret by J.L.Carrell. This book kept me going at every point. Kept me hooked. I love Shakespeare and conspiracy theories and this book tied them all in together. I really would advertise this book for others to read it. Its so0o0o good.

Catch ups

Helloooo.

Been to ill to remember to post so heres some of what I've been working on. I managed to paint my chair, Hand sanded and everything. Its now a nice bright yellow. All I have to do now is add a new cover to the actual seat part.

I have also taken the DIY screw storage box thing we had and customised it for keeping my card making bits in.

I've also been making cards and illustrations. This is a new example of a new kind of illustrations I've been doing.

I was inspired by Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd. I actually was disappointed in the film. After it had been given such a good review, despite Johnny Depp's lack of singing ability I found it to be a disappointing watch. I have seen Jason O Donovan perform Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. And it was AMAZING! I think if I didn't have that version to compare it to then the film would not have been so dull to me.

This image was another draft idea for the CD cover. However you can't see the sillohette of the stalker outside so this idea was scrapped.

These are also my collection of Cate Tiernan's Wicca collection. They are AMAZING! If anyone wants to read them I can lend them out. Just ask.

Sighs of Relief and an Aching Shoulder

Hello there Plague Rats... (Only Emilie Autumn fans will understand that.)



So0o0oo... **sigh** I can let out a big sigh of relief now for I have finished my CD cover for my friend's local band or for his solo album, still depending on what he chooses, I don't know I'm just the artist lol. So the brief was FAITHLESS. It was all about finding strength within yourself. And the lyrics were very suggestive of either being about love, or about a stalker who's obsessively in love. So I did a load of sketch book work and came up with three designs, one of which the basis sketch went well the when painted it didn't work. But I completed one of them that had all the details requested in it. And now he's edited it with his details and I've edited it on photoshop using my graphics tablet I don't think it looks half bad. Though I am going to carry on with one of the other designs.

Haven't got a lot else to report since my tonsillitus, only that I've jarred my shoulder, keeps clicking like a crazy thing. But you shouldn't force shoulders first into doors. :S

Ahh good night my pyjama wearing friends, or should I say good 'morrow? Ah I shll leave a lovely big update tomorrow.

Dried out paints, decisions and tea

Heyooo!

Well here I am again. I did another commission and thought I'd share it with you. Tis terribly crap because my paints were going dry as I painted it. Need new ones but the person I was working for was happy with it.

I'm really not happy with it at all because I know I can do better, but not until I get some new paints, damnit! **shakes fist** I have also started sketch book work for the cd cover I've been commissioned to do. So that should be interesting.

I made an important decision today. If I get the option on the 21st I'm going to have the dodgy looking mole on my back removed. If it's not there then it can't turn malignant. So yeh, nervous.

I'm going back to uni though baby! I'm going to be living with 3 girls and 2 gay guys who are the best. Two of the girls are my best friends. Can't wait!!!

I went for a walk at 6am the other morning because I hadn't slept all night. Took some photos on my journey too...

I will post them asap, but for now its a cuppa tea and bebby byes for me. ^_^

Death note, Dolls and other obsessions

Yo Pj lovers!

OMG how addicted to Death Note am I? I swear its the cause of my late nights at the moment. Tis soo0o0o good! I might have to add it to my collection, I'm seriously considering it.

For all those who don't know Death Note is an anime series based on the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. When Light Yagami discovers a Death Note left in the school yard he becomes intrigued by the pledge in it that claims that if you write someone's name in the Death Note then that person will die. Light sets out on a mission to rid the world of criminals killing those who get in his way in very intelligent methods to prevent suspision from the police. Soon L the investigator is on his back, trying to support his suspicsions of Light. L is an odd characther but thoroughly loveable and you can't help but love to hate Light. This series is extremely clever and very well explained. Even though it is deep and complex it is easy and enjoyable to follow and very very addictive.

I really can't work out who this deviant art piece belongs to. I found it on google but couldn't open the page with it on to find out. I think that its blooming amazing though, the art is so0o0o good. Who ever it belongs to, my hat comes off to them.

This is my favourite character, L. And I'm so0o so0o so so lucky because I really do think that my boyfriend looks a lot like him. **sigh** :)

L is an odd character but Oh so lovable. Deathnote has also been turned into a Japanese film so I may have to ebay that lil miracle.

Onto the dolls, not much to report other than I am working on some commissions right now, one of which is a book illustration that I am hating. And so, being the true procrastinator that I am I've started another doll. This time I'm doing one of my friend Angela. She is a crazy rock chick who I love to pieces. She really made my last birthday a good one as well with her hillarious antics.

Did som wicked red hair for her doll and then found out this afternoon that she's dyed it black ¬.¬ It's gona stay red on the doll. She can colour it in with felt tip if she has to but it's staying red.

Fated

Bunny Button

I've just ordered a ton of new fabric for sme more doll making. Have also ordered new anime! WOO! My Hime so should have something to watch during my sleepless nights. I have also been looking at some of the material links on the Inside a Black Apple blog and I came across this...




How amazingly cute is that?! My cat died a month ago. I am in pieces without him. I adored him, loved him to pieces. Really, really miss him too. Ooo! May make a plushy kitty of him!! Awww that would be cute right?

I was painting on Sunday night when I didn't sleep all night. I should say Sunday morning because it was 4.30 onwards that I was painting. Clothed for once instead of in my pjs and at my desk from when the sun rose.









It was copied from a reference photo I took when swimming underwater with an underwater camera. Used acrylics on paper.
