Pyjama Girl-

This is a site full of tales and late night ramblings from an art student who is now living at home and recovering day by day from a medical procedure.

Pyjama Girl's question- Am I the only one who lives in my pyjamas?

Ohhhhh Crafty!

Woop Woop PJ-ers!

Ack! For the past couple of days I have been lonely. Everyone seems to be down at the moment. I've spent time off trying to cheer people up but to no avail. Today (now yesterday as its 02:46am,) I worked on a few bits actually. I finished one commission the other day and set to work on sketch book work for the cd album cover I will now be doing. I also had a couple of others to work on with a longer deadline. As one was almost finished I worked on that until it was complete. Ta daa!

This is Angela doll for... You guessed it; Angela!

Isn't the background paper so0o0o Kawaii! Aww I totally loved it when I saw the sheets in Hobby Craft. I think they wer 30p a sheet? Or something like that but I did go in the sales.

So now I have:

My Ballerina with no name

Emily...

And Sad Eddie of course.

I also made something that had been in my head for a while. I was totally inspired by Pillow Monster's blog site to actually 'make' what I had designed in my head. This is my OWN Pillow Monster...

Isn't he cute?! His tongue folds into the cushion if u dont want it sticking out. Just zip it up and use as a normal cushion when in use, when not in use, add to the decoration of the cushion by rolling out the tongue. Also making a small monster to live in his mouth. Maybe a plaque monster that eats plaque from his teeth? Lol I dunno, and we don't want to delve into the depths of my unconscious mind tonight. I am very tired.

I'm also sanding down the old dining room chair that I have in my room at my desk now. Lori,(Pretty Little Things,) did this and it turned out really well. I may even do it in the same colour she did because it was so pretty. Would have to go for more of a cool, dull yellow pastel colour as it wouldn't suit my room other wise. We shall see.

For tonight that is all, so drink up your cocoa and settle down in bed ^_^

Death note, Dolls and other obsessions

Yo Pj lovers!
OMG how addicted to Death Note am I? I swear its the cause of my late nights at the moment. Tis soo0o0o good! I might have to add it to my collection, I'm seriously considering it.

For all those who don't know Death Note is an anime series based on the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. When Light Yagami discovers a Death Note left in the school yard he becomes intrigued by the pledge in it that claims that if you write someone's name in the Death Note then that person will die. Light sets out on a mission to rid the world of criminals killing those who get in his way in very intelligent methods to prevent suspision from the police. Soon L the investigator is on his back, trying to support his suspicsions of Light. L is an odd characther but thoroughly loveable and you can't help but love to hate Light. This series is extremely clever and very well explained. Even though it is deep and complex it is easy and enjoyable to follow and very very addictive.

I really can't work out who this deviant art piece belongs to. I found it on google but couldn't open the page with it on to find out. I think that its blooming amazing though, the art is so0o0o good. Who ever it belongs to, my hat comes off to them.

This is my favourite character, L. And I'm so0o so0o so so lucky because I really do think that my boyfriend looks a lot like him. **sigh** :)

L is an odd character but Oh so lovable. Deathnote has also been turned into a Japanese film so I may have to ebay that lil miracle.

Onto the dolls, not much to report other than I am working on some commissions right now, one of which is a book illustration that I am hating. And so, being the true procrastinator that I am I've started another doll. This time I'm doing one of my friend Angela. She is a crazy rock chick who I love to pieces. She really made my last birthday a good one as well with her hillarious antics.

This is her looking cute and innocent.......................... This is crazy Angela after dark lmao.

Did som wicked red hair for her doll and then found out this afternoon that she's dyed it black ¬.¬ It's gona stay red on the doll. She can colour it in with felt tip if she has to but it's staying red.

http://www.rodguen.com/gallery/main.php I'm a lil bit obssessed with comics and have been for a long time and this page was linked to me by Possom (the nun in the piccie.) She links me with the best sites. I also like http://www.mows.com/ and of course Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Possom is my 'wife' and she is an amazing artist. You really need to check her out.http://tang-de-mango.deviantart.com/

This is some of her work. She's a blooming artistic genius! Oh how I like my wifey's work :P
Well PJ fans, catch u soooooooon!

Good News at Last!!! >_<

Hello my fellow jarma wearers!

I went to a consultant appointment today and to be honest it wasn't with a heart full of hope. However, I left with the biggest smile I've had in months... Dr Kodavali has given me permission to return to uni! :D

I am so unbelievably excited! Obviously I have a LOT of work to do in three months. I have to go to the gym and do pilates and yoga twice a week, swimming twice a week, walking each day, working slowly up to running and not using my crutches at all. So it will be v. hard work. But I am determined to do it!

I have also finished another project that I was working on.
The Ballerina doll!

I made the tutu seperately to the doll. The waist band elasticated and I have sewn sparkly, shiney fabric flowers onto the top layer of the tutu.

I also made wool felt pink ballet slippers with ribbons around the legs. The under lay is white tulle that's used for wedding vail. The pink polka dot ribbon around the skirt is the ribbon I got from Hobby Craft. The hair is yellow woolfelt again but on the back i wrapped blonde coloured wool around a small ring of gold wire and made it look like a ballerina's bun in her hair. All in all I have been working on her since Friday night. It's only taken so long because each limb is bendable. There is wire fitted inside to shape into different ballet positions.

This is my lovely little ballerina! ^_^ But sadly she has no name. Beckz won the competition last time and named my other doll Emily. Who wants to name this one? X

Oooooo... Shiney!!! :D

Hey y'all!
I managed to get some sleep! Woo! I wanted to share with you all some very pretty shiney things that I have. Firstly...

Darn it, silly blogger won't turn this around! :( These are my little angels. They're candles that live on my windowsill. They really are beautiful I got them from a little pagan shop in my town called Violet Flame. I love it in there and get a lot of my stuff in there.

This is one of the necklaces I got for my 19th from a lovely little boutique in a nearby town. Its a beautiful white and red flower with golden jewels on. The earrings are daisy looking in the same colour as the necklace. Its great for everyday wear.

Where as...

This is one of my favourite necklaces. This too was for my 19th birthday and from the same boutique. I love it. Obviously its a shiney dressy necklace.

My new dvds arrived today so that was cool. My Hime. Hopefully it will be good and keep me busy.

And finally I'll give it a reast for tonight after showing you my new doll! :D

She still needs a name! So come on ppl. Give me some names! :D Thankies!
Bon-nuit!

I should be sleeping...

Oh yes Bonjour my merry blog readers. It is now 08.28am here and I have been up all night, yes all night! And its not just the sleep deprivation that bothers me... It's the pain!!! **Dramatic hand to head gesture.** The only thing that has kept me occupied all night is working on my new doll. Tis not ready yet but last week I finished one for my uni friend. He designed voodoo doll characters so I made him one. I called him Sad Eddie.

Isn't he cute?! I'm working on a smaller lady doll at the moment but have had to stop sewing as my sleep deprived brain was making it go wrong. Am in my PJs of course, aided by my frog slippers and many pillows. Hope that after my Doctor appointment I might get some sleep.
