Pyjama Girl-

This is a site full of tales and late night ramblings from an art student who is now living at home and recovering day by day from a medical procedure.

Pyjama Girl's question- Am I the only one who lives in my pyjamas?

Ohhhhh Crafty!

Woop Woop PJ-ers!

Ack! For the past couple of days I have been lonely. Everyone seems to be down at the moment. I've spent time off trying to cheer people up but to no avail. Today (now yesterday as its 02:46am,) I worked on a few bits actually. I finished one commission the other day and set to work on sketch book work for the cd album cover I will now be doing. I also had a couple of others to work on with a longer deadline. As one was almost finished I worked on that until it was complete. Ta daa!

This is Angela doll for... You guessed it; Angela!

Isn't the background paper so0o0o Kawaii! Aww I totally loved it when I saw the sheets in Hobby Craft. I think they wer 30p a sheet? Or something like that but I did go in the sales.

So now I have:

My Ballerina with no name

Emily...

And Sad Eddie of course.

I also made something that had been in my head for a while. I was totally inspired by Pillow Monster's blog site to actually 'make' what I had designed in my head. This is my OWN Pillow Monster...

Isn't he cute?! His tongue folds into the cushion if u dont want it sticking out. Just zip it up and use as a normal cushion when in use, when not in use, add to the decoration of the cushion by rolling out the tongue. Also making a small monster to live in his mouth. Maybe a plaque monster that eats plaque from his teeth? Lol I dunno, and we don't want to delve into the depths of my unconscious mind tonight. I am very tired.

I'm also sanding down the old dining room chair that I have in my room at my desk now. Lori,(Pretty Little Things,) did this and it turned out really well. I may even do it in the same colour she did because it was so pretty. Would have to go for more of a cool, dull yellow pastel colour as it wouldn't suit my room other wise. We shall see.

For tonight that is all, so drink up your cocoa and settle down in bed ^_^

Legwarmers and hot chocolate

Hi all!

Firstly I want to share my excitement wit you involving the trip that my dad took me on last night. This trip was, of course, to Hobby Craft!

Oh yes! There was a half price sale on and in minutes my basket was full and my dad's wallet empty. He never treats me so it was really nice to go out with him and he offer to pay for all my very very pretty stuff.

I really loved the ribbons that I got for 50p-£1 a roll. I was so excited! Have already started work on a project and have so many ideas in my head that it might pop! :) I also got an assortment of fabric and wool felt both from hobby craft and from ebay and I got a lot of card making materials.

I particularly liked these 3D card decorations they had of dogs and cats. I lost my cat sadly a month ago. He spent his last few hours purring on my lap in between mews of pain. It was horrible and I miss him terribly so when I saw these decorations it made me think of him and made me smile, I just thought they were so cute, like my cat was.

I got lots of patterned fabric so should have a lot of fun. I've been sewing all day and need to give my fingers a rest in a while.

Man it was cold this morning! I was wearing my fox pjs and my white bootie slippers and was so cold that I put my leg warmers on. They're ochre coloured and go gourgeously with my ugg boots, my brown tights and brown mini skirt. So I've been wearing those and drinking hot chocolates as I worked at my desk all night.
I also found out today that my friend is pregnant! I was at her wedding, what feels like only yesterday. Now she's pregnant and the brother of a dear friend, a boy who used to go to school with me and my prenant friend is having a baby too!
What is it?! Is it the spring time friskiness that causes so many women to be pregnant? From the sounds of it that's when my friend conceived! **Sigh** Makes me wonder if I really am suppossed to do those things... NAH! I don't see it myself. I would be proud to be a middle aged spinster who cackles and is a bad influence to kids. Much like Fran from Black Books.
I want to get some photos up of my studio soon. But for now, off to bed. Sleep sleep... I hope! Whilst the storm continues raging just outside my door.

Bunny Button

I've just ordered a ton of new fabric for sme more doll making. Have also ordered new anime! WOO! My Hime so should have something to watch during my sleepless nights. I have also been looking at some of the material links on the Inside a Black Apple blog and I came across this...

How amazingly cute is that?! My cat died a month ago. I am in pieces without him. I adored him, loved him to pieces. Really, really miss him too. Ooo! May make a plushy kitty of him!! Awww that would be cute right?

I was painting on Sunday night when I didn't sleep all night. I should say Sunday morning because it was 4.30 onwards that I was painting. Clothed for once instead of in my pjs and at my desk from when the sun rose.

It was copied from a reference photo I took when swimming underwater with an underwater camera. Used acrylics on paper.

I also love this very very cute bunny button, he he! :P
