Pyjama Girl-

This is a site full of tales and late night ramblings from an art student who is now living at home and recovering day by day from a medical procedure.

Pyjama Girl's question- Am I the only one who lives in my pyjamas?

Good News at Last!!! >_<

Hello my fellow jarma wearers!

I went to a consultant appointment today and to be honest it wasn't with a heart full of hope. However, I left with the biggest smile I've had in months... Dr Kodavali has given me permission to return to uni! :D

I am so unbelievably excited! Obviously I have a LOT of work to do in three months. I have to go to the gym and do pilates and yoga twice a week, swimming twice a week, walking each day, working slowly up to running and not using my crutches at all. So it will be v. hard work. But I am determined to do it!

I have also finished another project that I was working on.
The Ballerina doll!

I made the tutu seperately to the doll. The waist band elasticated and I have sewn sparkly, shiney fabric flowers onto the top layer of the tutu.

I also made wool felt pink ballet slippers with ribbons around the legs. The under lay is white tulle that's used for wedding vail. The pink polka dot ribbon around the skirt is the ribbon I got from Hobby Craft. The hair is yellow woolfelt again but on the back i wrapped blonde coloured wool around a small ring of gold wire and made it look like a ballerina's bun in her hair. All in all I have been working on her since Friday night. It's only taken so long because each limb is bendable. There is wire fitted inside to shape into different ballet positions.

This is my lovely little ballerina! ^_^ But sadly she has no name. Beckz won the competition last time and named my other doll Emily. Who wants to name this one? X
