Pyjama Girl-

This is a site full of tales and late night ramblings from an art student who is now living at home and recovering day by day from a medical procedure.

Pyjama Girl's question- Am I the only one who lives in my pyjamas?

Sleeping Sweeties

I'm dosed up to my eye balls. Had a double dose of the sleeping pills, that might I add look like sweets! I added my anime and manga list to my blog today. Yes I have a lot :S Its an addiction that I refuse to seek help for. lol. Just wanted to list a couple of my favorites.
Pretear:

Pretear was I think possibly the first anime I ever watched and I instantly fell in love. The show is in subtitles and if full of cute drawings. It starts by introducing the main character Himeno and shows us how upbeat and possitive she tries to remain. Obviously there's romance and other intercharacter relationships to consider as with all anime and manga. The story is told in 12/13 episodes and beware you can get hooked. There are frightfully cute characters as well as ones so positively charming you want to make cooing noises at the tv. Pretear involves a mix of cuteness, magic, strength, angst and meloncholy and remains to this day as one of my favs.

Ouran High School Host Club:

Ouran is the most KAWAII anime I have ever seen and I've seen tonnes. It follows a cute art style with less detail than some but the humour in this more than makes up for it.

Upon breaking a very expensive vase in the Host club's main room Haruhi is mistaken as a boy and forced to work for the Host club until she has repaid them for the vase. Full of hillarious humour, love triangles and great adventure Ouran warms the heart and and brings laughter to the viewer. How long before Haruhi is discovered as a girl working in the Host Club?

With characters from the devilish and mischievious twins, The wild type, Cool type, the lolita boy type and of course the ever flirtatious, ever protective Prince Charming, Tamaki.

Ceres- Celestial Legend:

I first came across this anime after reading the first two mangas. I was DESPERATE to find out more but could not afford the books. I went on ebay and brought the boxset... How glad I am that I did! It touched me the same way that Pretear did. I would even say more so. The story was indepth, there was great character developments, the art was great even though the budget was hard to stretch. Yuu Watase's create was brought to life in a incredible style. The story just kept on twisting and turning full or surprises, heart ache, humour and general smile inducing brilliance. The characters were introduced brilliantly and you really got hooked. The only fault to it was the voices for the English dub. It was very staggered at times and you kind of felt that the characters weren't speaking in the right emotions.

Anyway Ceres is about Aya Mikage a 15 year old twin, who, upon reaching her 16th birthday, discovers that there is more to her family and her ancestry than she had ever known. The series starts with a shoking end to the first episode which keeps you questioning all the way through. Aya discovers that she is the decendant of a Ceestial being, an angel out on a vendeter to retrieve her celestial robes, seek revenge against the Mikage family and return to heaven. The problem being that Ceres awakens from within Aya and takes over and when she does Aya has no way of controlling her.

Characters such as Aki- her twin brother, Yuhi- The kind hearted, protective boy she now lives with. Toya- the obligatory hot guy who can't help but protect her even when he works for the family that's trying to kill her. Suzumi- another descendant of a Celestial being who lets Aya into her home and protects her. Mrs Q- a hillarious and wacky maid that lives with Yuhi and Suzumi.

Anyways. To bed I go, I HOPE I get some sleep, PLEASE!!!
